Meet Stacey

Stacey Ishman, MD, MPH is an Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon and Sleep Physician whose clinical career has spanned the last 2 decades. She is triple-boarded in Otolaryngology - HNS, Sleep Medicine and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.

She has focused her clinical time on the care of children and adults with obstructive sleep apnea and was appointed as a Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati in 2016. 

She has published over 220 peer-reviewed publications and been funded by grants for the NIH, DOD and Industry.

She served as President of the International Surgical Sleep Society from 2017 through 2024 and sat on the Boards of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, the Society of University Otolaryngologists, and the Tri-State Child Health Services PHO Board.

She is a career coach for academic physicians. And she is a winner of Mentorship Awards from the University of Cincinnati and the Young Physicians Section of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). She was also awarded the Helen Krause Trailblazer award from the Women in Otolaryngology Section of the AAO-HNS.
